My Holiday

Hello!  Today, I'd like to introduce my holiday! Last weekend, I went to snowboarding with my friend.  It was the second time to go snowboarding and, the first time in three years for me.  Unfortunately, it was rainy😢 However, we enjoyed about six hours and after that, we went to a hot spring!  I was glad that my skin became very smooth. There were no people who can drive a car except me, so I drove it round trip.  Due to the driving and snowboarding, I was tired and had really sore muscles on the next day...

Veganism Even for Christmas?

Today, I listened to a podcast about Veganism and Vegetarian.  They talked about veganism. Can you explain the difference between Veganism and Vegetarianism?  Vegetarians don't eat only meat, but vegans don't eat meat, dairy or eggs.  They avoid animal-based stuff.  It is said that it's a tough transition to a vegan.  However, it is good for our health and environment.  Animal agriculture is the second largest contributor to human-made greenhouse gas emissions after fossil fuels.  Humans are carnivorous, but every little bit counts.  We should try doing "No-meat Mondays", Veganuary, or even just cut back on animal products you don't really like.  Let's try cutting down the amount of meat!

Ballet Performance

On November 28, I joined a ballet performance in Nara.  It was the recital of my ballet school.  We held it once two years.  Therefore, we practice it for about two years. Although I went back to Nara once a month to dance ballet, I didn't have enough time to practice because I moved in Hiroshima this spring.  However, I was glad to be able to perform without any mistakes.

Scientific American: Seeking Certainty on Climate Change: How Much Is Enough?

I read an article about climate change.  It explained about how to deal with many problems.  Naomi Oreskes said that we have already understood the physics of climate change well enough.  And scientists argue that we should deal with the problem by focusing on adaptation and mitigation.  Also, we understand that businesses will expose our and future generations to danger for suffering.

Movie(3) Legally Blonde

One movie that I really like was Legally Blonde.  It was made in 2001.  Reese Witherspoon starred in it.  Robert Luketic directed it.  It won the ACCA Award in 2007. This is a story about comedy and romance. It was set in America.  At the beginning, a girl who has blonde hair was turned down by her boyfriend because she was inappropriate for a wife of a representative. Then, she decided to go to the faculty of law of Harvard University, which he attended.  At the end of the story, she studied very hard and she was chosen for the representative of the graduating students. I liked this movie because I can raise my motivation to study and do other things.  Also, the performers are beautiful and cool.  Maybe, most of you like it, so I recommend you to watch this movie.  It's available on Amazon Prime Video.

Onomichi

In the last national holiday, I visited Onomichi with my friend by car.  This is the first time to go there.  Fortunately, Betcha Festival was held on that day, so there were a lot of people.   First of all, I went to a cat trail called "Nekonohosomichi".  It made me a little sad because there were only a few cats.  I wanted to see more😢 After that, we ate a lot of things in the shopping street.  The best one was the parfait made from strawberries. I recommend you to visit Onomichi!

A Picture of Cows

イメージ
There are a lot of cows in a cow shed.  The color of their body is brown.  In front of them, there are eight people. They are playing some instruments.  The instruments seem to be cellos.  Most of the cows are listening to music.  However, some cows are eating grass.
